Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to residents dietary needs and preferences
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards including monitoring food temperatures
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area
• Communicate with care staff regarding special dietary requirements
• Create a warm welcoming mealtime experience for residents

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior cooking or food service experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for serving seniors and working in a care focused environment
