About the role
We are looking to bring an experienced cook supervisor to our correctional facility kitchen team. As a cook supervisor, you will coordinate and supervise the work of employees to ensure efficiency and adherence to established standards in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Instruct and train employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation.
- Ensure meal services begin on time.
- Guarantee portion size, appearance, and temperature for all food items meet high-quality standards.
Requirements
- At least one year of prior culinary experience in a quality, high-volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking.
- Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once.
- High-level product knowledge and ability to provide friendly, helpful customer service.
- Experience supervising a team.
Qualifications
Food Handlers certification preferred.
Pay
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
