Cook - Stonegate (Per-Diem) #1958

About the role

The area's highest quality assisted living residence providing a warm and compassionate homelike community. Childcare on site and free meal with every shift worked. Shifts are 6:30am-2:30pm, minimum of two (2) shifts per month.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Cook in daily cooking operations.
• Ensure the highest quality and standards of meals are professionally prepared plus presented with excellence.

Requirements

• Culinary degree or related experience.
• Experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook or Sauté Cook.
• Skill and experience with Hotel, Country Club and/or Restaurant menus.
• Ala Carte Dining Experience preferred.
• ServSafe certified, able to obtain certification within 6 months of employment.
• Flu vaccine required during flu season.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) shifts per month.
• Minimum of six (6) months of experience as a Cook.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Proficiency in culinary arts.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.

$22.75 hourly rate.
