Cook/Server

Location: Plymouth, MN / Minneapolis, MN

About the role

This is a part-time position offering 25–28 hours per week with no late nights. The schedule includes day and afternoon shifts on a rotating basis, including weekends and holidays. Daily pay is available.

We are seeking a cook/server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work on their feet for extended periods. Experience in cooking and kitchen tasks is required.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation
• Food preparation and proper storage
• Assist in maintaining all health code regulations in the kitchen
• Ensure that all food is presented in an attractive and appetizing manner
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen and dining areas
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

Requirements

• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 lbs
• Ability to follow recipes and menus provided onsite
• Follow instructions of the Chef Manager
• Understanding of basic cooking techniques
• Take proper temperatures for equipment and food as required
• Reliable means of transportation to and from work (no bus line)
• Minimum one year of full-time previous experience with references that will be checked

Pay

$18.50–$20.00 hourly wage
