About the role
A Cook at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our Retail team supporting efforts to provide excellent dishes to our guests. This position involves preparing and delivering meals to guests professionally and courteously and is ideal for someone adaptable, detail-orientated, and who has a passion for delivering excellent dishes.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate detailed expertise in cooking and holding requirements for products offered.
- Prepare all menu items for service.
- Kitchen Operations Management: Support the kitchen team in delivering excellent quality to our guests in a timely manner.
- Compliance and Safety: Adhere to food and beverage safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Customer Service and Team Support: Maintain a positive and professional approach with team members and customers. Responds promptly and adequately to guest requests or concerns.
Requirements
- Required: High school diploma or GED.
- Prior formal culinary training.
- Food handler’s card.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Effective communication skills.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, reaching, grasping, talking, hearing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and using close, distance, and peripheral vision.
