Responsibilities

  • Prepare menu items utilizing cooking equipment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adhere to high food quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain quality and production standards on all menu items.
  • Ensure food is fresh and of high quality when served to guests.
  • Manage portion control and serving temperatures of all products served in the concession stand.
  • Clean, stock, and restock workstations and displays.
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens.
  • Maintain cleanliness, health, and safety standards in work areas.
  • Show excellent attendance and meet company standards for attendance.

Qualifications

  • Communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests.
  • Work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Possess a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations.

About the Venue

The Blue Federal Credit Union Arena (Blue Arena) is a 6,800 seat multipurpose facility owned by Larimer County and located in Loveland, Colorado. It hosts various indoor sporting events, rodeos, concerts, and trade shows. The Blue Arena is part of The Ranch Events Complex, which includes The Ranch Equestrian Center, Pedersen Toyota Center, Origins Arena, and Thomas M. McKee 4-H, Youth, & Community Building. The Blue Arena and The Ranch are central to the sports, entertainment, and agricultural activities in Northern Colorado.

Benefits

  • Part-time, seasonal, and internship employees accrue one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.

Pay

The Cook position pays an hourly rate of $20.00-$25.00.
