Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality food by performing essential production tasks and supporting your coworkers.
• Contribute to a positive work environment, maintain a safe and efficient production line, and ensure products reach families across America.
• Work with meat cutting/packaging machines and other equipment, demonstrating technical knowledge of computerized equipment.
• Work in physically demanding conditions, including standing for up to 12 hours, working around animal blood and carcass parts, handling knives, and working in various temperature conditions.
• Perform tasks requiring continuous/repetitive movement, such as grasping, pinching hands, flexing, and extending arms.
• Work in a noisy environment and wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
• May require certification to operate certain equipment.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Willingness and ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring continuous/repetitive movement, including grasping, pinching hands, flexing, and extending arms.
• Ability to stand on concrete and/or platforms for up to a 12-hour shift.
• Ability to work in cold and/or warm environments, as well as in wet and humid conditions.
• Ability to work around strong smells/odors and sanitation/cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to climb/move on ladders, steps, stairways, walkways, and platforms.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist repetitively over the course of an entire shift.
• Ability to walk long distances.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, single lift up to 60 lbs, or use mechanical assistance for lifting.
