About the role

Our Cooks prepare amazing and nourishing meals for our guests, ensuring the highest quality standards of food service and the best culinary experience. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to create and review menus, prepare food, and ensure meals are made in accordance with established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations.
• Coordinate food production to coincide with meal serving times, ensuring excellence in quality, temperature, and appearance.
• Assist with tray line setup and plate assembly.
• Support daily cleaning requirements in the kitchen.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, their families, and visitors.
• Foster a positive, healthy environment through kind words and encouragement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility, with strong knowledge of food procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care.
• Ability to work as a team player, dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done.

Pay

Starting at $18.00 per hour with hero pay ($0.85 per hour), totaling $18.85 per hour. Yearly wage increases are provided.

Schedule

Full-time position with rotating weekends and some holidays. No late nights.
