Responsibilities
- Timely preparation and service of scheduled meals and snacks
- Creativity in meal preparation and planning using fresh, local, and organic whole foods
- Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment
- Follows all applicable health code regulations
- Absorbs specific dietary needs
- Assists in the dish room as needed
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Culinary Arts or 2-5 years of experience
- Thorough knowledge of whole food cuisine
- Ability to work as a team and communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Experience working with adults coping with mental health challenges is preferred
