About the role

Create menu magic and make hungry people happy. Showcase your skills by providing daily preparation requirements while working together with the culinary team to ensure quality and constancy of food items. The Line Cook II reads and interprets recipes, conducts inventory, and adheres to standards for sanitation and safe food handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret recipes accurately.
• Prepare menu items according to daily requirements.
• Conduct inventory checks and maintain stock levels.
• Follow sanitation and safe food‑handling procedures.
• Maintain consistent quality and presentation of food items.

Requirements

• Previous cooking experience required.
• Necessary State Food Handler’s License(s).
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small‑group situations.
• Knife skills and the ability to adjust preparations for flavor.
• Capability to accommodate customer needs in a timely manner.

Pay

Hourly Pay Range: $18 to $22. Tip/Tip Pooling eligible. Get paid daily (any day payday). Paid time off & holiday pay.

Workplace

McCormick Woods Golf Club is built in accordance with the Audubon Society to optimize its serene location. The 18‑hole course features natural lakes hidden amongst towering firs and cedars, with five tee placements at each hole for players of all skill levels. The Clubhouse offers stunning views and impeccable service, hosting weddings, corporate events, and social functions for up to 400 guests.
