Responsibilities
- Coordinates, prepares, and serves palatable and appetizing meals in a timely manner in accordance with sanitary regulations.
- Reviews menus and production sheets to ensure food is available for meals and snacks.
- Assists Food Prep Coordinators as needed.
- Ensures scheduled cleaning duties are completed and equipment/utensils are in a safe, clean, and sanitary condition.
- Plans, coordinates, assigns, and supervises staff as needed to foster a team-centered environment.
Requirements
- Two years of cooking experience in an institutional or large-scale commercial setting.
- Vocational training in food services may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
Pay
Salary range: $15.13 - $22.70 per hour.
