Responsibilities

• Performs cooking, baking, and preparation of specialty dishes.
• Creates new dishes from a variety of recipes.
• Coordinates the work of employees performing kitchen duties such as cooking, baking, sanitation, washing pots and pans, etc.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas.
• Controls food costs through proper utilization of products and storage of food.
• Assists with training new staff.

Requirements

• Two years of cooking experience in an institutional or large-scale commercial setting.
• Vocational training in food services may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.

Pay

Salary: $15.14 - $22.71 hourly. This position is eligible for an $800 sign-on bonus.
