Cook Helper

What you will be doing:

• Prepare vegetables, salads, meats, bread and desserts as instructed and routinely set forth in an appetizing, eye-appealing meal
• Cook or bake items which require minimum preparation.
• Replenishing napkin dispensers, plate racks, silverware racks, salt and pepper shakers and condiments.
• Making coffee, tea and other beverages and setting up cafeteria lines and serving meals on the line.
• Aiding in the storage and inventory of supplies; transferring food ingredients from storage area to cooking area.
• Cleaning food service area, tables and kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Maintaining kitchen equipment in orderly workable condition, and ensuring the work area is safe, clean, and sanitary at all times.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year relevant experience.
• Current ServSafe (Food Handler) Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
