About the role

Texas Spine and Joint Hospital is seeking a skilled Cook. We are looking for a responsible, dedicated person who can cook great food in a timely manner. You will be cooking for our patients, visitors, and staff via our Café and patient care.

Responsibilities

• With attention to detail for accurately and efficiently preparing, portioning, grilling, and presenting a variety of hot and/or cold food items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Special/Catered Events.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of cooking experience or in a similar culinary role is preferred, especially in a healthcare or institutional setting.
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, sautéing, etc.).

Skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.

Schedule

Must be able to rotate weekend shifts.
