Cook for Nursing Home

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents with high standards for taste and presentation
• Adequately adhere to dietary requirements, modifications, and restrictions
• Stock, store, label, date, and rotate products within safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, storage, and work area
• Maintain all cooking equipment in a safe and working order
• Work with management to create a memorable experience for residents

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• ServSafe Certificate
• Previous experience in food preparation in restaurant or healthcare setting
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the COOK position
