Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Nursing Home Cook to join our team at Springvale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a leading senior care provider in Croton-On-Hudson, NY.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals for residents, including special dietary needs and preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to high standards of sanitation and safety
• Collaborate with our culinary team to develop menus and recipes that meet resident preferences and dietary needs
• Monitor and manage inventory, ordering supplies and ingredients as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends and best practices

Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar role preferred
• Ability to lift, bend, and move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
