About the role
Prepare and serve hot and cold food items for patients, residents, visitors, and staff. Clean equipment and work area, and restock supplies.
Responsibilities
- Lead Culinary Services Aides in daily operations
- Participate in culinary training
- Travel to and provide care at all Benedictine communities within the assigned region as needed
- Operate, clean, and sanitize foodservice equipment and work area
- Prepare food following food safety guidelines, diet restrictions, and standardized recipes
- Serve food according to portion control guides and diet restrictions
- Promote the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect, and Justice
Requirements
- Quantity food production experience
- Completion of an approved food safety sanitation course, or completion within the first 90 days of employment
