Cook/Dietary Aide

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer care services while cooking, serving beverages and meals to patrons seated at the tables in the dining room(s) located in the Community.
• Support the Community through positive communication and leadership.
• Contribute to Community relationships by demonstrating cooperation and professional conduct with residents, families, fellow associates, physicians, pharmacies, and other vendors or persons.
• Contribute to team effort by being flexible in work assignments; furnishing support; taking initiative; and understanding how this position affects and compliments all other Community positions.
• Maintain work pace appropriate to given work load.
• Perform duties on schedule while maintaining regular attendance and punctuality within specified tolerance.
• Demonstrate awareness of sanitation regulations in handling and storing food.
• Demonstrate awareness of safety rules in the kitchen.
• Take beverages and meal orders.
• Collect order from kitchen, add appropriate garnish, place meal on tray, and serve to patrons with napkin and condiments.
• Serve dining room patrons with the highest level of customer service.
