Position Overview
Colonial Heritage Club, located in Williamsburg, Virginia, is seeking outgoing individuals to join their team as a Line Cook. The club features an award-winning golf course designed by Arthur Hills and offers fine dining, entertainment, and exceptional venues for weddings and special events.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
- Help achieve ongoing guest satisfaction and team goals
- Prep food items ahead of time as requested
- Return unused food items to designated storage areas
- Auxiliary in correcting food cost problems
- Date and rotate perishables according to standards
- Check par levels for shift use and prepare accordingly
- Receive and unpack items from food vendors
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license required
- Minimum of two (2) years restaurant or kitchen experience preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
