About the role
Cook position for school food service in the Caldwell West Caldwell, NJ area.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, day shift from 6:30 am to 12:30 pm. No weekends or holidays; summers off.
Responsibilities
- Prepare hot and cold meals
- Follow menus and recipes according to the NSLP guidelines
- Adhere to all safety and food handling procedures
- Use personal protective equipment at all times
- Stocking
- Serving
- Cleaning and related duties
Requirements
- Cooking experience required
- K‑12 experience a plus
- ServSafe® certification a plus
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, team environment
- Able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools
