About the role
Cook needed for school food service in the Toms River, NJ area.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, day shift, 4 to 6 hours daily. No weekends or holidays, summers off.
Responsibilities
- Prepare hot and cold meals
- Follow menus and recipes according to the NSLP guidelines
- Adhere to all safety and food handling procedures
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Stocking
- Serving
- Cash register
- Cleaning
Requirements
- ServSafe® certification a plus
- Must be able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools
- Cooking experience required
- K‑12 experience a plus
