Role Overview: The Conveyor Technician is a senior maintenance professional responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding conveyor and material handling systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities Lead advanced mechanical and electrical diagnostics and resolve failuresPerform complex corrective maintenance, including asset rebuildsReplace and repair components following safety standardsDocument work orders accurately in CMMSSupport preventative maintenance to enhance system uptimeAnalyze recurring issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actionsAdhere strictly to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout proceduresProvide informal mentorship to maintenance technicians to improve troubleshooting skills Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent8+ years of maintenance experience preferredProficiency with CMMS systemsStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsAbility to read electrical schematicsExcellent organizational and analytical abilitiesPhysical capability to lift up to 75 lbs, work at heights, and in confined spaces Key Attributes Ability to work independently and within a teamAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsCommitment to safety and continuous improvement This role demands technical expertise, leadership, and a focus on safety to maintain conveyor system efficiency and minimize downtime.
