Conversion Crew

Responsibilities

• Execute the setup and breakdown of event equipment, including ice decking, dasher boards, glass, goals, netting, staging, tables, chairs, and other event-specific items
• Safely load and unload equipment and materials from storage and delivery vehicles
• Operate various tools and equipment required for event conversion, following all safety guidelines
• Work collaboratively with other crew members to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule
• Perform pre-event checks and post-event cleanup to maintain a safe and organized environment
• Adhere to all operational procedures and safety protocols at all times
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding task progress and any issues
• Perform other duties as assigned to support arena and event operations

Qualifications

• Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), standing, walking, bending, stooping, and kneeling for extended periods
• Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including cold temperatures, loud noise levels, and varying light conditions
• Proven reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all workplace rules
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the event schedule
• Prior experience in a similar physically demanding role or event setup is a plus, but not required
• A positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a successful team environment
