Job Summary

At TTEC Digital, we design, deploy, and optimize next-generation customer-facing agentic workflows. As a Conversational AI Engineer specializing in Gemini Enterprise for Customer Experience (GECX), you will build multi-agent applications using CX Agent Studio and implement Code Agents with programmatic SDKs (e.g., cxas-scrapi) and custom Python/TypeScript tool callbacks. This role focuses on merging low-code visual canvas building with custom-coded logic for deterministic agent hierarchies.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop multi-agent architectures using modular, hierarchical networks (Root/Steering agents and Sub-agents).
  • Write custom code tools and callbacks in Python or TypeScript to extend agent capabilities.
  • Leverage GECX Engineering CLI and tooling for automated code-first workflows (e.g., cxas lint, cxas llm-lint).
  • Design generative playbooks and control flows with structured XML-like instructions.
  • Program enterprise integrations via Model Context Protocol (MCP) or secure OpenAPI webhooks (e.g., databases, CRMs, CCaaS networks like Genesys, Avaya).
  • Automate quality and evaluation (CI/CD) with simulation frameworks and golden-scenario test cases.

Skills And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years building conversational AI solutions, virtual agents, or programmatic AI workflows.
  • Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript/Node.js (JSON payloads, RESTful APIs, cloud-hosted webhooks).
  • Hands-on experience with Git-based developer workflows and CLIs.
  • Experience with GECX Code Agent tooling (e.g., cxas-scrapi SDK).
  • Technical understanding of Dialogflow CX, CX Agent Studio, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience deploying streaming, low-latency audio-to-audio (A2A) voice agents and telephony integration (SIP/RTP, CCaaS).
  • Solid grasp of prompt engineering safety, blocklists, and programmatic fallback behaviors.
  • Experience with BigQuery or Google Cloud Logging for conversation traces and performance metrics.
