Controls Technician (BMS/BAS and EPMS Power Monitoring) - Ridgeland, MS

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and monitoring building management systems (BMS), building automation systems (BAS), energy performance monitoring systems (EPMS), and power monitoring systems in a facility.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain BMS, BAS, and EPMS systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers and facility managers to ensure system efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
• Document maintenance procedures and system configurations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in building automation systems or similar roles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C#.
• Experience with SCADA systems and power monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Pass a background check.

Skills

• Knowledge of BMS, BAS, and EPMS systems.
• Experience with power monitoring software.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
