Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLC-controlled production equipment and automated systems
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, controls, and instrumentation issues to minimize equipment downtime
- Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial control systems
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on automation and electrical equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and technical documentation
- Install, configure, and test electrical control panels, sensors, motors, and instrumentation devices
- Support new equipment installations, automation upgrades, and process improvement initiatives
- Aid in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring equipment failures
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience maintaining industrial controls and automation systems in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, motor controls, and industrial electrical systems
- Experience troubleshooting automated production equipment and electrical control circuits
- Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, or Mitsubishi PLC platforms
- Familiarity with robotics, servo systems, vision systems, and industrial networking (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, Profibus, etc.)
