Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and control systems
- Diagnose electrical/automation issues
- Support equipment startup and commissioning
- Read schematics and control logic
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations
- Ensure system reliability
- Identify issues and recommend fixes
- Improve machine performance and yield
- Assist with RCA and downtime reduction
- Provide real-time troubleshooting
- Reduce downtime
Experiences/Education
- Required: Associate’s degree (AAS) in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field OR High school diploma with 5–7+ years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience with industrial controls (PLC/HMI systems)
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and automation systems
- Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic
- Desired: Experience with PLC platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
- Familiarity with robotics, vision systems, or motion control
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (e.g., aerospace, optics)
- Knowledge of SPC, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies
- Exposure to MES, SCADA, or networked control systems
Pay
The range for this position is $70,954.00 - $97,562.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
