Responsibilities

  • Deliver global training programs and design technical training modules for automation systems (PLCs, SCADA, robotics).
  • Assess engineers’ technical knowledge, identify skill gaps, and maintain a comprehensive skills matrix for commissioning engineers.
  • Conduct new hire training to prepare employees for project site assignments.
  • Maintain and update training documentation to reflect technological advancements and internal standards.
  • Provide real-time troubleshooting guidance and practical demonstrations during training sessions.
  • Collaborate with automation engineers, project leads, and maintenance teams to ensure training aligns with operational needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation, or related, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with automation systems, with prior experience training and developing technical staff.
  • Proven experience training and developing technical staff.
  • Strong familiarity with the commissioning process, troubleshooting methods, control system integration, and OSHA standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both hands-on and classroom training.
  • Able to assess technical competency and adapt training content accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation, or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in automation systems.
  • Experience in training and developing technical staff.
  • Familiarity with commissioning processes, troubleshooting methods, control system integration, and OSHA standards.
