Responsibilities
- Deliver global training programs and design technical training modules for automation systems (PLCs, SCADA, robotics).
- Assess engineers’ technical knowledge, identify skill gaps, and maintain a comprehensive skills matrix for commissioning engineers.
- Conduct new hire training to prepare employees for project site assignments.
- Maintain and update training documentation to reflect technological advancements and internal standards.
- Provide real-time troubleshooting guidance and practical demonstrations during training sessions.
- Collaborate with automation engineers, project leads, and maintenance teams to ensure training aligns with operational needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation, or related, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience with automation systems, with prior experience training and developing technical staff.
- Proven experience training and developing technical staff.
- Strong familiarity with the commissioning process, troubleshooting methods, control system integration, and OSHA standards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for both hands-on and classroom training.
- Able to assess technical competency and adapt training content accordingly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in automation systems.
- Experience in training and developing technical staff.
- Familiarity with commissioning processes, troubleshooting methods, control system integration, and OSHA standards.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
