Controls Consultant (M/F/D)*

Responsibilities

• Lead on-time delivery of the controls solution and costing for TGW US sales bids, including both direct sales and retrofit bids.
• Create and update KPIs to measure sales costs against actual costs, reviewing progress at defined points in project delivery.
• Contribute to and manage a project risk register for each assigned project.
• Facilitate ongoing coordination among customers, other departments of the implementation process, and relevant suppliers.
• Support controls related discussions with the customer or other suppliers as required.
• Provide specification and clarification of control interfaces to third-party works as part of cost generation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience with intralogistics systems at varying levels of automation.
• Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of controls systems.
• Hands-on project management experience within an engineering capacity.
• Robust knowledge of AutoCAD and strong ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Effective communication skills for wide variety of audiences, internal (other employees) and external (customers and vendors).
