Responsibilities
- Create/Modify cabinet drawings in the 3D and 2D software tools development environment.
- Perform range of activities to design and develop code utilizing the GEV Mark* VIe DCS, CIMPLICITY HMI Development, Siemens S7 PLC and/or the Bosch Rexroth motor controller for both safety class 3 and N systems in nuclear power plants.
- Knowledge of configuration of Network Switches (Cisco), Firewalls (Fortinet), Routers.
- Understand VMware and Virtual Machine concepts; has worked on thin client configuration solutions (both Windows & Linux).
- Knowledge of standards and regulations for control networks including industry standards for cabinet design in the USA and/or Canada.
- Be accountable for on-time schedule performance, project milestones, customer deliverables, and compliance with regulations and standards.
- Use applicable procedures to ensure compliance with quality assurance for design products.
- Support Procurement Engineering teams with procurement package development and vendor documentation reviews.
- Review, incorporate and implement project and customer requirements.
- Handle multiple projects/activities simultaneously.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or related field (or equivalent industry experience in the specific noted areas).
- US Citizen or Green Card required.
- 4 years experience in Controls Cabinet Design Software including at least one (1) year of demonstrable experience with Autodesk Inventor 3D cabinet model development.
- 2 years experience in Controls Code or HMI Development.
- Experience in the Nuclear Power Industry.
- Demonstrated aptitude, skills, and experience working with Autodesk Inventor or other 3D cabinet modeling tools for 3+ years.
- Experience with GEV Mark*VIe or VIeS Controls Software Development.
- Experience with Cimplicity HMI Screen Software Development.
- Demonstrated experience working in the industrial controls or power generation industry.
- Strong computer skills with standard Microsoft Windows tools including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.
- Technical skills in engineering design and construction practices.
- Proven team player with solid cooperation, flexibility, and demonstrated capacity to learn complex information quickly.
Work Requirements
- This role is preferred to be an onsite position in Greenville, SC. However, remote work can be considered at time of interview.
- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
- Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
- Travel is around 5-10%.
Pay
$80,000/yr - $100,000/yr. Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure.
