Duties
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency service calls on existing BMS
- Install, troubleshoot and repair system components including sensors, actuators, controllers, and networking devices
- Troubleshoot installations and correct deficiencies without direct supervision
- Effectively communicate with customers to evaluate service needs, maintain proper scheduling and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Maintain and monitor customer buildings to ensure optimum performance standards are being achieved
- Fine tune systems as new programs and sequences are implemented
- Identify opportunities for additional building enhancements and perform upgrades and/or small scale retrofits on existing systems
- Perform necessary software programming, equipment start-up, tuning and calibration and commissioning of BAS
- Be proficient in knowledge of following equipment: VAVs, Exhaust Fans, Unit Vents, AHUs, Hot Water Systems, Chiller Water Systems
- Stay informed of industry developments for energy savings strategies
- Provide feedback to supervisor for ways to improve the installation
- Assume additional responsibilities as needed and approved by Qualifications
Qualifications
- Field experience in the HVAC controls industry including DDC Systems commissioning, software integration operation, calibration
- Experience with Honeywell Niagara/Tridium N4 is preferred
- Understanding of the construction industry with emphasis in mechanical/electrical
- Strong communication, organizational and documentation skills
- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, N4 Workbench, AutoCAD
- Proven track record of completing projects, being self-motivated and achieving customer satisfaction
Pay
The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $100,000 depending on experience.
