Controls/PLC Technician - 3rd Shift (10pm-6:30am)
for section headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections when posting has real specific content. We must not repeat job title as heading. We must not include Job ID etc. Remove boilerplate. Preserve all substantive info.
We need to parse content:
- About LiDestri Foods: description of company. Could be "About the role"? Actually "About LiDestri Foods" is about company, not role. The instruction says use headings like About the role, Responsibilities, etc. So we should map "About LiDestri Foods" to "About the role"? Probably we should use "About the role" heading for company overview? The instruction: "use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." So we can use those exact headings. We need to decide which sections have content.
Content sections:
- About LiDestri Foods: description of company, could go under "About the role"? Might be better as "About the role" but it's about company. However we must follow instruction: use those headings. If we put "About the role" and put company description, that might be okay.
- "Excellent Pay And Benefits Great career-pathing Professional development, including unlimited online training courses Health insurance with premium contributions Dental, vision, HSA 100% company paid life insurance and long-term disability 401k – with employer match Paid time off to include- vacation, sick pay, wellness time off, and 10 holidays Company bonuses And many more…." This is benefits and pay. So we can have Benefits section (list) and maybe Pay section? It mentions "Excellent Pay And Benefits" but no specific pay amount. Since we should not create Pay section unless posting actually states them (specific pay). It does not state a specific salary, just says "Excellent Pay". That's vague; we should not create Pay section because it's not specific. Benefits we have specific items: professional development, health insurance, dental, vision, HSA, life insurance, long-term disability, 401k with match, PTO details, holidays, bonuses. So we can create Benefits section with a .
- Position Summary: description of role. Could be part of "About the role" or maybe we could have a short paragraph under "About the role". The instruction says we should not repeat job title as heading. So we can have a under About the role summarizing.
- Responsibilities: there is a "Duties & Responsibilities" section with many bullet-like sentences. We'll create Responsibilities
.
- Required Education, Skills & Experience: includes education, experience, skills. Could be split into Requirements, Qualifications, Skills. We need to decide. The posting lists: High School Diploma or GED required; 3 – 5 years’ experience or AAS Electrical Tech / IBEW Apprentice; Experience working with manufacturing equipment including ...; Experience with Controls for Conveyor Systems ...; Experience with Temperature controls and PID loops; Experience with calibration of RTD, Thermocouple and other low voltage sensors; Knowledge of and ability to comprehend and troubleshoot production machinery (list); Familiarity with Lock-Out Tag-Out Authorized, Hot Work, Confined Space and HECP Training; Able to read and interpret electrical schematics; Able to communicate in a professional manner; Able to use a variety of measuring tools and test equipment; Able to work independently, with limited supervision; Ability to work with numbers, perform calculations and demonstrable mechanical inclination; Knowledge of Drill Press, Chop Saw, Port-a-Band, Sawzall and other maintenance tools preferred. Knowledge or experience with Multi-Meters, clamp-on current meters, megohmmeters, PLC troubleshooting via Laptop, Panelview; Food Manufacturing Experience a plus.
We can categorize: Requirements (education, experience), Qualifications (maybe same), Skills (specific technical skills). But we must not create thin sections. Perhaps combine into Requirements and Skills. Let's think: The instruction says prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So we could have: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements (including education, experience, qualifications), Skills (technical skills), Benefits. That's 5 sections.
We need to ensure we don't create sections with filler like "commensurate with experience". We have real content.
Now we need to strip boilerplate: "Page Break", "DISCLAIMER:" etc. Remove those lines.
Also remove duplicated lines: there are duplicated sentences about conducting plant audits etc. We should preserve all substantive info but not duplicate? The instruction: "Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail." It doesn't say to deduplicate, but we should not repeat duplicated lines? It says "Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions." So we should remove duplicated lines. So we need to identify duplicated lines and keep only one instance.
Duplicated lines: "Support the manufacturing process by conducting plant audits to ensure transactions are being conducted within LFI guidelines." appears twice. Also "Work with both Production and Warehouse personnel to ensure accurate reporting of both raw materials and finished goods." appears twice (once with "accurate reporting", second with "accurate PLC system reporting"). Slight variation but similar. Also "Support the manufacturing process by conducting plant audits to ensure automated system transactions are being conducted within LFI guidelines." appears twice? Actually there is one about transactions, another about automated system transactions. Might be considered duplicated but slight difference. We'll keep one each? Safer to keep both as they are not exact duplicates but similar. However the instruction says remove duplicated lines. We'll remove exact duplicates. The exact duplicate is the first sentence about transactions appears twice. We'll keep one.
Also "Work with both Production and Warehouse personnel to ensure accurate reporting of both raw materials and finished goods." appears once? Actually there is: "Work with both Production and Warehouse personnel to ensure accurate reporting of both raw materials and finished goods." and later "Work with both Production and Warehouse personnel to ensure accurate PLC system reporting of both raw materials and finished goods;" Not exact duplicate. So keep both.
Now we need to format.
