About the Role
The Control Technician is responsible for maintenance, modification, and repair of building controls and material handling systems in distribution centers.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair AC & DC circuits, sensors, encoders, PLCs, and barcode readers.
- Perform program modifications and monitor PLC and PMS systems.
- Conduct maintenance activities on controls, process controllers, control cabinets, and field devices.
- Complete work orders with detailed documentation, including parts and inventory used.
- Diagnose and repair low and high voltage controls, utilizing technical manuals and schematics.
- Use electrical diagnostic tools such as digital and analog meters.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience with PLCs, controls, and operating systems.
- Electrical expertise in high and low voltage AC/DC systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience programming and supervising PLCs (e.g., Allen/Bradley, Siemens).
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Support for overtime and valid driver's license.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
