Controls & Automation Support
- Assist in troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, and automated equipment (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
- Support machine uptime by helping diagnose electrical and controls-related issues
- Participate in PLC programming updates and documentation
- Aid in robot programming and troubleshooting
- Assist with preventative maintenance activities on automated systems
- Help implement continuous improvement and process optimization projects
IT Support
- Provide support for shop floor for PCs, printers, scanners, label machines, radios, etc.
- Assist with network troubleshooting for connectivity, IP configurations, etc.
- Support user account management for all team members to include permissions, access
- Maintain IT documentation, asset tracking, and system backups
- Aid in software installations, updates, and cybersecurity best practices
Required Skills And Education
- Enrolled full-time in an accredited college pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- Graduation date of May 2027 or later
- Available to work a minimum of 25 hours each week year-round
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Basic understanding of PLCs and industrial automation
- Familiarity with electrical systems and schematics
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals
- Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite
