Controls Systems Technician

Responsibilities
- Performs assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools.
- Troubleshoots and resolves basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems.
- Responds to basic warranty calls.
- Provides high-level service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items.
- Acts as a trusted advisor to customers, providing solutions and outcomes at the time of service.
Requirements
- 2-year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field, or at least 2 years of industry experience in HVAC servicing.
- Industry experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.
- Knowledge of HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniques.
- Effective interpersonal skills to represent Johnson Controls ethically and professionally.
- Ability to explain technical information to both technical and non-technical people.
- Leadership skills to support mechanics working on non-complex, non-critical Building Automation equipment.
- PC experience required and the ability to program HVAC related software.
Qualifications
High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety. Follows all safety standards and attends required safety training.

Required skills include knowledge of HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniques, effective interpersonal skills, ability to explain technical information, leadership skills, PC experience, and programming HVAC related software.

Pay
Hiring hourly range: $24.33 - 33.41 Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
