Job Responsibilities

  • Solid knowledge of metal stamping, spot welding and assembly processes
  • Proven knowledge of PLCs and programming with the ability to program/teach robots
  • Electrical knowledge (National Electrical Code) and control wiring
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to develop positive relationships with associates, customers and vendors
  • Intermediate computer skills required
  • Able to communicate with others, both verbally and in writing
  • Able to prepare, read, write and interpret reports, instructions, technical procedures, blueprints, diagrams and business correspondence
  • Able to clearly and effectively respond to questions from management and customers
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts as appropriate

Education and/or Experience

  • Two or four year degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • 4 years job related experience

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Physical Demands

  • Involves physical activity, which occasionally requires strenuous activity
  • Involves frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds, often combined with bending, twisting and reaching

Environmental Conditions

  • General factory conditions including exposure to hot, humid conditions
