Job Overview

We are seeking a Controls Engineer / PLC Engineer with hands-on experience in Allen-Bradley PLCs, commissioning, troubleshooting, and industrial automation systems.

Location: Oklahoma
Duration: Long Term

Responsibilities

• Perform PLC commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
• Commission and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, GuardLogix PLCs, and PowerFlex 525 VFDs.
• Troubleshoot Stratix switches, Remote I/O, I/O Blocks, and industrial network systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with STO, E-Stop, VFDs, field I/O, and Ethernet/IP networks.
• Modify PLC programs during commissioning as required.
• Read electrical drawings and coordinate with electrical contractors to resolve field issues.
• Follow commissioning procedures, documentation standards, LOTO, and safety practices.
• Report project issues and progress in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley GuardLogix PLCs.
• Experience with PowerFlex 525 VFDs.
• Strong knowledge of Ethernet/IP networking and industrial networks.
• Proven experience with industrial automation commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and handle pressure in field environments.
• Material handling industry experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel independently.
