Responsibilities
- Program the control logic and debug existing code for high-speed packaging equipment using Allen-Bradley and Keyence PLCs.
- Develop and implement Human-Machine Interface (HMI) for new equipment.
- Oversee annual plant electrical preventative maintenance and IR scans.
- Participate in electrical troubleshooting for high-speed packaging equipment.
- Manage electronics and robotics project selection and installation.
- Cook up and work with all electrical vendors as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of PLC programming skills and HMI integration/programming skills required.
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLC5, SLC500, Compact Logix, and Keyence is required.
- Robot programming experience with Fanuc is highly preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and controls.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient in using Allen Bradley and Keyence PLCs and HMI software.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
