Controls Engineer

Overview

Laciny Bros., a custom fabrication company founded in 1916, is seeking a full-time controls engineer to join their team. They specialize in custom fabrication for the pharmaceutical, food/beverage, material handling, and packaging industries.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, fabricate and test custom mechanical and electromechanical systems for various industries.
• Aid in project management, including onsite client interaction and data collection, concept generation, and quoting.
• Design control panel layouts and oversee/assist in panel builds and wiring.
• Program PLC's and assist in system installation and start-up.
• Work in a fast-paced, exciting environment emphasizing teamwork, creativity, precision, and attention to detail.
• Potential for career development in mechanical/industrial automation fields.

Skill Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the automation field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in designing electrical panels and programming PLC's.
• Ability to investigate, assess, troubleshoot, and integrate mechanical solutions to problems or objectives.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to interact with clients in a detailed and professional manner.
• Strong team player who can take on diverse roles without hesitation.
• Hands-on approach to design/build projects, mechanically inclined, and willing to tackle challenges.
