Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize PLCs to enhance machine efficiency by reducing cycle times, increasing uptime, and minimizing operator intervention.
- Design control systems for automated machinery, including research and selection of new components, creating panel layouts and schematics, programming, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with various systems, including PLCs, servo systems, stepper systems, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), power supplies, motion controllers, and communication loops.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Electronics.
- At least 2 years of prior experience in programming PLCs.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office for documentation.
- CAD experience for schematic documentation.
- Experience with vision systems is a valuable asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
