Controls Engineer
About the role
This role is responsible for designing and developing complete control systems, including both hardware configurations and software interfaces. The position involves creating and implementing fully integrated control solutions, ensuring seamless system functionality. Additionally, the role requires close collaboration with sales teams and project managers to deliver comprehensive design and software solutions tailored to building control system requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design of HVAC building control systems.
- Sequence programming of HVAC building controls systems.
- Graphic interface design and development for HVAC building control systems.
- Coordination with project managers on timelines, schedules and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree with 2+ years of HVAC industry experience
- OR High School Diploma with 4+ years of HVAC industry experience.
- 1+ years of experience with Windows and Microsoft products. (Excel, Word, Visio, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience programming and graphical Tridium experience.
- Working knowledge of Automated Logic software, hardware, peripherals, add-ons, and services.
- Experience with third-party communication protocols used in building automation, such as BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, LON, N2, etc.
- Experience with Enterprise IP networks, or similar software.
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 - $129,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
