Controls Engineer

About the role

Provide project support for smaller-scale projects and line optimization, specifically for the e-compressor line supplying to major automotive companies. The role involves troubleshooting equipment and modifying existing PLC programs to support individual cells being installed, rather than entire production lines.

Responsibilities

• Provide project support for smaller-scale projects and line optimization
• Troubleshoot equipment and modify existing PLC programs to enhance the e-compressor line
• Focus on individual cells rather than entire production lines for troubleshooting and program modifications

Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and program modification, especially with Allen Bradley PLCs
• Experience with HMI and controls engineering
• Robotic experience and robotic programming skills
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments, ideally in the automotive sector
• Ability to prioritize and remain focused amidst changing situations
• Knowledge of electrical schematic design and automation is a plus
