Controls Engineer
Responsibilities
- Develop software for updates, changes, and new product development for equipment using Parker IQAN.
- Support the technical support team by interfacing with customers and troubleshooting issues on the production floor.
- Develop a more regimented software and defined process storage of software, documentation for existing service parts in terms of how the software handles those things.
- Occasionally upgrade Parker products to newer versions.
Essential Skills
- Hands-on experience developing controls software for physical systems (machines, equipment, or vehicles).
- Familiarity with controls programs (e.g., CODESYS, IQAN, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
- Familiarity with programming languages or tools such as C/C++, MATLAB, or Simulink.
- Ability to develop and debug control logic (sensor inputs, actuator outputs, sequencing, PID, etc.).
- Experience troubleshooting modules, sensors, valves, I/O, wiring.
Work Environment
- Involves fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly-heavy manufacturing.
- Some travel to customer locations or dealer sites may be required, totaling less than 20% of the time, with only a few trips a year, primarily within the country.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winn, MI.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $49.52/hr.
