Responsibilities
- Leading, supporting, implementing, and managing automation projections
- Driving innovation in advancements
- Leading and implementing automation cells
- Developing concepts, aiding in mechanical and electrical design
- Installing and training receiving plants
- Providing ongoing support for robot cells
- Project leading other integrators as a subject matter expert
Requirements
- Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager
- Coaching, reviewing, and delegating work to lower level professionals
- Dealing with difficult and complex problems
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or software engineering
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Expertise in RS logix 500, RS logix 5000, Factory Talk HMI, Baluff I/O link, programming
- Experience with Fanuc Programming or basic understanding with Robotics
- Understanding and communication of applicable safety standards
- Experience with supporting risk assessments on automated equipment
- Auto CAD experience
- Experience with Ignition or other SCADA software
- Ability to read electrical drawings
- Experience coordinating and managing controls systems
- Experience communicating with external manufacturing systems/MES
- Experience with Atlas Copco Tools Talk programming and interface with torque tools
- Experience with controls and programming servo-driven equipment
- Willingness to travel in North America (up to 50%)
Skills
