Responsibilities

  • Leading, supporting, implementing, and managing automation projections
  • Driving innovation in advancements
  • Leading and implementing automation cells
  • Developing concepts, aiding in mechanical and electrical design
  • Installing and training receiving plants
  • Providing ongoing support for robot cells
  • Project leading other integrators as a subject matter expert

Requirements

  • Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager
  • Coaching, reviewing, and delegating work to lower level professionals
  • Dealing with difficult and complex problems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or software engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Expertise in RS logix 500, RS logix 5000, Factory Talk HMI, Baluff I/O link, programming
  • Experience with Fanuc Programming or basic understanding with Robotics
  • Understanding and communication of applicable safety standards
  • Experience with supporting risk assessments on automated equipment
  • Auto CAD experience
  • Experience with Ignition or other SCADA software
  • Ability to read electrical drawings
  • Experience coordinating and managing controls systems
  • Experience communicating with external manufacturing systems/MES
  • Experience with Atlas Copco Tools Talk programming and interface with torque tools
  • Experience with controls and programming servo-driven equipment
  • Willingness to travel in North America (up to 50%)

Skills

  • RS logix 500, RS logix 5000, Factory Talk HMI, Baluff I/O link, programming
