Responsibilities
- Support, develop, and implement Niagara based systems, programs, and graphics to meet client or design requirements.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing programs as needed.
- Design BAS systems (including flow and wiring diagrams, bill of materials, and sequence of operations) based on customer requirements or MEP design documentation.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for control programs, system designs, and library updates.
- Provide technical support to District Service personnel and clients for building controls applications.
- Assist in resolving complex technical issues and provide guidance on system integration.
- Develop and deliver training programs for Daikin BAS engineers, technicians, and other team members.
- Perform point-to-point verification and troubleshooting during BAS installation.
- Oversee installing subcontractors for scope and quality control.
- Perform BAS startup and commissioning activities to deliver a complete system to the client.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot OT networks as they relate to BAS and other building technologies.
- Advise DAA and DAA's clients on OT architecture to provide secure and resilient network connectivity for DAA equipment and BAS offerings.
- Provide technical sales and operational support to sales members throughout the Division as needed.
Requirements
- 8+ years related experience including BAS.
- Preferable experience in design, programming, graphics, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, Computer Science, or related experience.
- In lieu of degree, will consider additional work experience.
- Proven experience in programming building automation control applications.
- Strong knowledge of Commercial and Industrial HVAC systems and their operation.
- Familiarity with building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.).
- Ability to travel as needed to support District Service offices.
- Demonstrated expertise in BAS design, programming, graphics creation, startup, and troubleshooting.
- 10+ years, Niagara 4 TCP or Extended TCP.
- Daikin product knowledge.
- 3rd party integrations.
- Expertise in common BAS protocols - BACnet, MODBUS.
- Expertise in implementing and servicing OT networks with OSI layer 2 and layer 3 management.

Pay
The typical salary for this position ranges from $91,000 - $147,000 + 10% bonus incentive target in the Las Vegas area.
Schedule
Hybrid: On site with customers, in office and remote as needed.
