Controls Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications.
• Engineer the design, build, and plan/specification for jobs.
• Program, graphic design, and integration of Automation systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair existing systems, assist in the determination of control/mechanical issues.
• Provide ongoing customer support.
• Aid in the development and offering of additional building services including but not limited to commissioning, retro-commissioning, building condition assessments, surveillance, and access control.
• Aid in the development/adjustment processes and quality control measures.
• Conduct R&D necessary to ensure offerings are current with available technology, industry trends, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with and provide support to coworkers as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
• 3+ years of controls experience in HVAC industry.
• Knowledge of Microsoft programs including Visio, Excel, and Word.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands

• Largely sedentary role; some filing required.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand, as necessary.

Work Environment

• This job operates in both an office and a field environment.

Pay Range & Benefits

• Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000
• Benefits: Health, vision, dental, 401k etc.
