Tasks
- Aid in the monthly close process, including journal entries, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Support the Preview forecasting and implementation process.
- Create and maintain monthly analysis reports for designated areas.
- Track assigned accruals during month-end close.
- Collaborate with department managers and teams to offer financial support and analysis.
- Contribute to ad hoc financial projects as directed.
- Learn and utilize financial software and tools as needed.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree (or junior/senior actively pursuing an undergraduate degree) in finance, accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting and finance principles.
- Detail-oriented analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Effective time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- A passion for learning, proactive approach to acquiring new skills, and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Collaborative and supportive in team settings.
- Values human connection and enjoys building relationships.
