Controlling Intern

Tasks

• Aid in the monthly close process, including journal entries, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Support the Preview forecasting and implementation process.
• Create and maintain monthly analysis reports for designated areas.
• Track assigned accruals during month-end close.
• Collaborate with department managers and teams to offer financial support and analysis.
• Contribute to ad hoc financial projects as directed.
• Learn and utilize financial software and tools as needed.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree (or junior/senior actively pursuing an undergraduate degree) in finance, accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting and finance principles.
• Detail-oriented analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Effective time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• A passion for learning, proactive approach to acquiring new skills, and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Collaborative and supportive in team settings.
