About the role

A rapidly growing, private equity-backed organization is seeking a CPA-certified Controller to join its leadership team in a highly visible role reporting directly to the CFO.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys operating in a fast-paced environment experiencing significant growth, acquisitions, system enhancements, and operational transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and financial reporting activities
• Support acquisitions and integration efforts
• Partner with leadership on process improvements and scaling initiatives
• Aid in lender and investor reporting
• Help strengthen controls and prepare the organization for future growth

Requirements

• CPA REQUIRED
• Mechanical engineering degree preferred
• Manufacturing and/or distribution accounting experience
• Multi-entity accounting experience
• Strong month-end close, financial reporting, and audit background
• Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, or high-growth organizations
• Ability to thrive in a lean, roll-up-your-sleeves environment
