What You'll Do
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for a portfolio of commercial real estate assets.
- Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and management reporting.
- Analyze operating results, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow to support business decisions.
- Partner closely with Asset Management and Property Management teams to evaluate portfolio performance.
- Oversee property accounting functions, including AP/AR review, tenant billing, and bank reconciliations.
- Manage lender reporting, loan compliance, treasury activities, and capital funding requests.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and process improvements across the portfolio.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of accounting or property accounting experience.
- Commercial real estate experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Yardi Voyager is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and GAAP.
- A collaborative professional who enjoys working both strategically and hands-on.
- Someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable partnering with executives while rolling up their sleeves to get the work done.
