Lead Financial Excellence for a Growing Residential Builder
We are a premier residential general contractor committed to building high-quality homes while fostering a collaborative, innovative, and people-first culture. We believe strong financial leadership is critical to our sustainable success, and we are currently seeking an elite Construction Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the absolute integrity of our reporting.

What You Will Be Doing

• Manage all aspects of corporate accounting, including rigorous general ledger (GL) reconciliations, accounts payable (AP), and daily cash disbursements.
• Prepare, analyze, and present comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to internal stakeholders.
• Lead internal audits and coordinate seamlessly with external auditors to ensure strict compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and significantly enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide deep insights into financial performance and support highly accurate budgeting processes.
• Utilize QuickBooks and NEWSTAR software for the efficient management of accounting processes and reporting.

What You Need To Succeed

• Education & Licensure (Required): A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, paired with an active CPA certification.
• Public Accounting Experience: Proven public accounting experience with one of the Big Four (or another top-tier) accounting firms is strictly required.
• Controller Experience: 3+ years of progressive experience in senior-level financial management or corporate Controller roles.
• Technical Expertise: Deep proficiency in general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable processes, and advanced financial report writing.
• Analytical & Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and exceptional communication skills to present that data clearly to executive stakeholders.

Compensation & Premium Benefits

• Executive Pay: $205,000 - $225,000 Base Salary on a reliable pay cycle.
